Can you source items that out of stock or not on your website

Yes! – We will try our best to source any items not on our website. Or we will at least try our best to point you in the right direction. Please contact us by email or phone.

How far in advance should I book

We always advise booking as soon as possible especially in peak season, April to October due to high demand. We will try our very best to accommodate all order requests, however we would recommend as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment.

Any orders due less than 5 days in advance we would advise that you call us first to confirm.

What If I have to cancel an Order

Orders cancelled 7 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.

Orders cancelled within 7 days to arrival will receive a 50% refund.

Order cancelled within 24 hours to arrival will receive credit note to be used for alternative items or in the future with us.

Do you require a Deposit

No – Full payment in advance is required.

We offer insurance to protect your equipment for damages.

However, on select items there is a small booking fee (non refundable) the outstanding amount is to be paid on arrival. – Transfers/Car Hire/Golf/Catering Giant Garden games

How can I make a Payment

Payment will be requested on check out by one of the following methods :

  • Credit/Debit Card – (Credit/Debit card payments can be made through Paypal guest. A Credit card can be used for the outstanding balance of the Car hire payment)
  • Paypal
  • BACS into a UK or Portugal bank account Payment
  • M-Mobile banking
  • Cash In Euros upon Delivery/Collection from our office.


When will my items be Delivered
  • Delivery to airport – 40 mins after your scheduled arrival
  • Delivery to resort – between 2 to 4 hours after your scheduled arrival
  • Collect from airport – 2 hours prior to scheduled departure
  • Collect from resort – 3 to 5 hours prior to scheduled departure
  • Airport Delivery and General Delivery times to be within working hours 08:00 am till 18:30 pm.
Can I collect my items from your office
Yes, items can be collected and returned from our office free of charge available 24 hours.
Is the Baby Equipment delivered in good and clean condition?
At little Rascals we pride ourselves that every piece of baby equipment goes through a thorough cleaning and inspection process.

Do I have to receive, collect and return my items in Person?

We can deliver your items to your resort reception or meet your villa management at the property prior to your arrival, we do however stress that these arrangements are arranged prior to your arrival.

Collection from our office can be made by a family member or friend please advise us prior to arrival.


I have lost an item I have rented

The Hirer will be responsible for the care and security of the equipment during the hire period

The Hirer shall be responsible for and identify Little Rascals against all loss or damage to the equipment from whatever cause. Little Rascals reserves the right to charge the value of the loss/damage/breakage of the said hire items in full should breakages, loss or damage occur to the hire equipment.

How do Returns work

At Checkout please select your preferred method of return ie collection form Resort, Airport or returning the items to our Office.

How do I extend the rental period of my items

Please contact us immediately by email or phone to check availability of your hired items.


In what condition should I expect to receive my equipment in

As a policy to Little Rascals, all of our equipment is 2 years or less after this we discontinue the item regardless of condition. All items are thoroughly cleaned, sterilized and inspected upon return and re checked before we rehire. We do pride ourselves on the standards and care we take in looking after our equipment.

Do you offer Discounts

Yes we do on Returning customers upon your second booking we will provide you with a coupon for your booking. All loyal customers are given a 10% discount to all orders. We also provide a discount for any orders taken for more than 3 weeks.

Do you fit and assemble your Car seats and equipment

Yes we do! In most occasions we will always fit your car seats into your vehicle and assemble any equipment you have hired. On the occasions we are not there to do so you will be sent or given clear and precise instructions. All wooden cots are only allowed to be assembled and dismantled by a little rascals representative.

What are your operating hours

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Operating hours are from 08.00 am to 18:30 pm, if deliveries or collections are required out with these hours There is an additional charge of £25.00 for an out of an out of hours service payable in advance. Collections and returns can be made to the office which is available 24 hours.

Is there a minimum rental requirement

You can hire from a minimum of 1 day but this will be charged for a 7 day hire period.

Will I receive the exact items shown

We only supply top quality products for rent from highly respected and known manufacturers. Unless the manufacturer and/or model is specified, you will receive an item of like kind and quality to that pictured.


How is the equipment collected and returned

All your equipment is pre loaded into your transfer vehicle before your arrival, and dropped off after you departure, so as not to delay you in your ongoing journey.

Are you transfers private?

Yes! All of our transfers are for the sole use of little Rascals customers, and vehicles are chosen according to group size. All vehicles are new, fully air-conditioned, with free WiFi, and English speaking drivers.

Are car seats provided for our Transfer

Yes! All child seats required are provided free of charge, we do ask that you advise us of the age, weight and height of your child so we make sure the correct car seat is provided. Any special request please add this in your booking notes.

How do I find the driver

After collecting your luggage pass through customs and turn left. Continue through the holiday tour companies, and enter into the arrivals Look for your driver on your right hand side, he will have your name written on a board/paper

How do I know what time my driver will collect us for our departure

Once you have made your booking, you will receive a separate confirmation email with your transfer details, here you will find all of your details and departure collection time. We always ask that you check and then print as this is confirmation of your booking.

Why do you take a Booking fee

We unfortunately have to take a booking fee, in regards to no shows as we still have to pay for our Airport fees.

Car Hire

Why do your car hire prices appear more expensive than others?
We include everything for you, so you will not arrive to collect your car hire and find hidden charges, we have designed a package specifically for families and customer feedback to enable collecting your car stress free, so you simply sign pay and go!
Where will I find our ordered products
Dependant on the size of your vehicle ordered and items order. We will endeavour to fit any Car seats or Baby equipment hired to your vehicle prior to you arrival, and collected after your departure.
Can I hire Baby equipment if I collect my car from Lisbon or Porto
Unfortunately not. A the moment we are solely based in the Algarve only. Any car seats required can be hired directly through our car hire company and will be provided through them.
What makes your car hire company so good

We have done extensive research into our customer feedback to what makes the perfect package and wishes to hiring a car when travelling with children:

Can I add extra’s to our car hire
Yes! We can quote for any extras required that is not included in our package. GPS or Sat Nav, SCDW (Super collision damage waiver, PAI (Personal accident insurance), TWL (Tires windows and Locks). We do advise booking these in advance so there is no delay in collecting your car and as a rule our car hire representatives will not sell you any extras.
Can I drive the car into Spain
Cars are allowed to go to Spain but there is and additional insurance (Green Card for Spain) to be purchased. This additional insurance activates the travel assistance outside Portugal.
Do all your cars have air conditioning as standard
Yes! All the vehicles we rent have air conditioning as standard.
In case of an accident what should I do?
In case of an accident you should contact the Car hire representatives immediately. They have a 24 hours service phone which you can contact at anytime. The vehicle will be replaced immediately and you’ll be able to continue your holidays without worries.
About Portuguese toll roads

There are 2 different toll system, one is fully automatic without any option to pay locally and another with gates or barriers where you are able to stop take a ticket and pay at the end, where you want to exit.

Our system only work for automatic toll roads, used in the A22 / A23 / A28 / A25 / A29, where is not possible to pay locally.

All our cars are provided with a toll device in the windscreen with 15€ credit to use in your rental, we charge 5€ for administrative fee, reason why you pay 20€

In case you exceed the 15€ credit, we will charge on the credit card, supplied for security propose, multiples of 5€

Example: Total amount used: 18,25 = 20€ (round to the next 5€ multiple) – 15€ (credit you start) = 5€ extra charge
